WHERE IT STARTED

How It All Began

Mike’s journey into the travel industry actually began with Disney.

In 2014, Mike and his cousin launched a weekly Disney podcast. As the audience grew, listeners increasingly began asking for help planning their own vacations—where to stay, where to eat, what to experience, and how to make the most of their time.

What started as a passion for talking about travel eventually became a passion for planning it.

Mike became a travel advisor and began helping clients create vacations of their own.

But another journey would eventually change the direction of everything.

The Trip That Changed How We Look at Travel

In 2024, we traveled together to Barcelona, spending several days exploring the city before embarking on an Adventures by Disney experience followed by a cruise along the western coast of Italy.

For Mike especially, it was a step outside his travel comfort zone.

And it was eye-opening.

We experienced incredible food, fascinating history, different cultures, beautiful destinations, and the excitement of waking up each morning somewhere new.

It became one of those trips you never really stop talking about.

More importantly, it made us realize how much of the world we still wanted to experience together—and how much we wanted to help other people experience it too.

That journey helped shape the vision for Luxury Travel Advisors.
